Ma So Mui 馬素梅

Founding Member

生於香港，畢業於羅富國教育學院及葛量洪教育學院，並在前香港理工學院修畢設計及陶藝課程。為英國胡伐咸頓大學教育學士及文學碩士和英國倫敦大學哲學博士。香港教育大學文化與創意藝術學系前助理教授。作品曾入選「陶瓷茶具創作展覽」及「當代香港藝術雙年展」。除本港外，亦曾在中國、日本及台灣展出。作品為香港藝術館及私人收藏。馬氏為香港當代陶藝協會創會成員。

Ma So Mui was born in Hong Kong. She graduated from the Northcote and Grantham College of Education and received training in Design and Ceramics from the Hong Kong Polytechnic. She received a B.Ed. degree and M. A. degree from the University of Wolverhampton, U. K. and a Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Education of University of London. She was assistant professor at the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts of the Education University of Hong Kong. Her works were selected for the “Teaware by Hong Kong Potters” and the “Contemporary Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition”. Besides Hong Kong, she has also exhibited in Mainland China, Japan and Taiwan. Her works were collected by the Hong Kong Museum of Art and private collectors. She is one of the founding members of the Contemporary Ceramic Society (HK).
