盧偉業從事藝術教育近三十年，習陶三十年，早期學藝於石灣陶藝家何大鈞老師，除個人創作外，近年致力探索不同陶藝裝飾技法、配釉及柴燒。自2019年擔任國際傷健潛水協會（香港）陶藝工作坊義務導師。曾參與多個陶藝展覧，作品入選2021茶具創作比賽。近年專注於在香港柴燒，迷上了柴火與陶土相遇而產生的那種既偶發又特別效果。
Derek LO has been engaged in art education for nearly 30 years, and has been working on pottery for 30 years. He first learned pottery techniques from Shiwan Pottery Master He Dajun. In addition to personal creations, he has devoted himself to exploring different ceramic decoration techniques, glaze matching and wood firing in recent years. Since 2019, he has been a voluntary instructor of the pottery workshop for a charitable organization named the International Association of Hand-in-hand Divers (Hong Kong). He participated in several ceramic art exhibitions, and his works were selected for the 2021 Tea Ware Creation Competition. Recent years, Derek focused on Wood Firing in Hong Kong, and he was fascinated by the accidental and special effects produced by the encounter between fire, wood and clay.
